If you have a practice, a passion, a mission, or a community initiative that would allow you to host a space, run an activity, or bring something interactive and meaningful to The Long Road, then we want to hear from you.
Examples of who might want to apply...
Workshop leaders & makers
Craft, DIY, heritage skills, classic dance styles, hands-on making, and practical workshops – anything people can roll their sleeves up and get involved in.
American culture & stateside life
Experiences that celebrate Americana and U.S. traditions: from axe-throwing-style activities and classic games to storytelling, folk practices, dance halls, community rituals, and cultural showcases rooted in everyday American life.
Creative facilitators & interactive experiences
Immersive, participatory ideas that spark curiosity and connection – whether that’s building, learning, trying something new, or sharing a skill with others.
Community projects & grassroots initiatives
Collectives, organisations, and local projects with something meaningful, welcoming, and community-focused to bring to the festival.
Social impact & cultural organisations
Groups working in areas like community building, youth engagement, sustainability, heritage, craft preservation, or widening access to culture.
And anyone else with an idea that’s creative, interactive, informative, and people-powered, and feels at home within the spirit of the festival.
We’re not looking for musicians, traders, or key event services at this stage – please see our contact page for the relevant applications.
Please note: we’ll only be able to get in touch if your proposal is a good fit for the festival, so you may not receive a response to your submission.
